This Agreement is entered into as of 16.01.2026, between Melinda Magyar, residing at 2600 Vác, Quell Rudolf utca 10, Hungary, with an EU VAT number of HU55736703 (“Illustrator”), and Client (“Client”).

Project Proposal:

1. Description: The Illustrator agrees to provide illustration services for the creation of: “
   Dust jacket: Base cover price – ebook + dust jacket: $450
   Hard cover case design: $100
   (foiled details and 3d mockups for both)
   Sprayed edge: $100
   5 chapter header illustrations: (5x$35) $175
2. Deliverables: Deliverables include high-resolution PNG, JPG files and press-ready PDF files. These deliverables will be sent to the Client upon receipt of full payment. Until then, only previews of the illustrations will be shown to the Client.
3. Revisions: The Client is entitled to 3 rounds of revisions (1 sketch revision, 2 revisions on the polished files), within the scope of the original project description. Additional revisions may incur extra charges at a rate of $15 per occasion.
4. Deadline: The Illustrator works with a 20-25 day turnaround time, expected to start from the 26th of January, 2026. If additional revisions are requested, the timeline may be extended accordingly. In such cases, the illustrator will inform the client about any changes to the delivery schedule.

Payment:

1. Fees: The Client agrees to pay the Illustrator a total fee of $825 for the project to Illustrator’s Paypal/Wise/Bank account, payable as follows:
   • $412 deposit before project start
   • $413 after project completion, before final designs are delivered 
2. Expenses: Any additional expenses incurred during the project, such as materials or third-party services, will be discussed and agreed upon by both parties before being incurred.

Ownership and Usage Rights:

1. Ownership: The Illustrator retains ownership of all original artwork created during the project, including sketches, drafts, and final illustrations, until full payment has been received.
2. Usage Rights: Upon full payment, the Client will receive exclusive, worldwide, perpetual rights to use the final illustrations for the agreed-upon purposes outlined in the project proposal. (Promotional and Commercial rights included)
   The Illustrator retains the right to display the final artwork, as well as any preliminary work, in their professional portfolio, provided that the character art has been officially revealed or published by the Client.

Confidentiality:

Both parties agree to maintain the confidentiality of any proprietary or sensitive information shared during the course of the project.

Termination:

Either party may terminate this Agreement by providing written notice to the other party. In the event of termination, the Client agrees to compensate the Illustrator for any work completed up to the termination date.

Governing Law:

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Hungary.

Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI):

The Illustrator affirms that no artificial intelligence (AI) tools, software, or generative technologies (including but not limited to AI-generated imagery, text, or design elements) will be used at any stage of the creative process for the commissioned work. All work will be completed by the Illustrator using traditional and/or digital hand-drawing methods, ensuring that the final product is entirely original and human-made.

The Client agrees that the finished designs, drafts, source files, or any part thereof provided under this Agreement may not be uploaded to, processed by, modified with, or used in connection with any artificial intelligence tools, machine learning systems, or similar technologies.

Invoicing:

The Client’s name and address are required for invoicing purposes. The invoice will be created and sent to the Client upon project completion. The Illustrator abides by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) laws regarding the handling of personal data. Any personal information provided by the Client will be treated with confidentiality and used solely for the purpose of completing the project.
